That's exactly what I use:
ZX-M, A28/2.8, A50/1.4, A100/2.8 (in the branded stuff)
If the budget is tight, get the A50/1.7.  One fine lens.

The AF lenses will give you display of the aperture in the
finder at all times.  The A lenses don't do that.  Bummer.
But otherwise you'll get all the metering modes available.

The ZX-M does not have spot metering.  It's only real drawback.

And, you can use the A lenses on any of the Pentax AF bodies.
The only change there will be the same -- no constant display
of the aperture in the finder.

So, if you're going manual focus, just get a newer ZX-M body.
Perhaps consider the $$ for the 4-year extended warranty as well.
It might be worth considering.  They sell for $189 new or $150 used.
That's a small diff for the value of a warranty.
