People are going to say or do what they want, and putting
restrictions or qualifiers on how people can comment on PUG
photos is, IMO, a waste of time.  Everyone wants to be told
their photo is swell, but the fact is, most aren't so swell to
deserve plaudits, and most aren't so bad as to "suck", to use
a common descriptive term.

If you put something up publicly you should expect comments
that are pleasant and friendly, and comments that aren't, and
which may even be mean spirited. But so what.  Why do you post
photos to the PUG - to elicit praise?  Constructive criticism
(which I've rarely seen)? or to share your vision with others
that have a common interest?  What does it matter how people
express their  feelings about your work?
