It's totally not personal. And I think differring opinions are
exceptionally valuable, particularly when talking about such subjective
things as the quality of a lens. If everyone said "this lens is bad"
and nothing else, I'd be disappointed. Instead, the thread provoked
about the 50mm f1.2 brought out numerous comments about its sharpness,
contrast, bokeh, the general quality of its images, the depth of field,
the abberations, and so on. This has been a terrifically informative
thread! Thanks for starting it! :)
