One thing to consider might be lens compatibility. On the ZX-5n you can use all your 
Pentax lens, even the old screw mounts with an appropriate adapter and still be able 
to utilize most of your camera's functionality. You lose the program mode and shutter 
priority but still retain aperture priority and manual (with stop down metering on the 
old M42 lens).  With some of the newer Nikons, compatibility with older Nikkor lenses 
is lost, though I am not sure which ones. So, if you still have any of your old 
Spotmatic lenses, you can still make use of them on the Pentax system.
