That's what the LX waistfinder is for Tiger! 

But yeah, I often shoot low to the ground, especially for landscape and macro 
work, where I can manipulate the foreground and any other scenery a lot 
better. The landscape perspective when the camera platform is knee-high or so 
gives me more choices.
