There is no one answer to the question. You have to act
according to your conscious and by doing what you think is
right. I'm not suggesting that any one point of view is
correct, but I also see no need for uselessly driving up the
price of an item.
Your choice of the word "avarice" is interesting.
You said " ... isn't that what the market is all about, deciding
who needs a thing more?" In an earlier message I indicated that
two PDML bidders discussed just that, and didn't get into a
bidding war in order to make that decision.
