Hi, Mike.  I'm not advocating that we abstain from bidding against list
members.  Most of the time, I don't even check the bidder history before
bidding, and there's no way that I would refrain from placing a bid unless
it was a special circumstance.  What I'm saying is that we all love to
find the hidden little bargain on eBay.  If I notice that one of our list
members has found one, I'll bid against them if I want, but I feel a
little bad about posting it to the group and letting everyone else in on
it.  Especially if I'm bidding on it, too.  <g> Of course, this depends on
how I choose to define "hidden bargain" that day.  If it's something like
a black MX with a 50/1.2, you can bet that it's not going to be hidden for
more than a nonosecond and a half.  :)
