 Which flash are you using?
 The center post on the 4P`s is just there for looks, it has no function.

for the pin connections, although it targets the LX, the Super P has
the same contacts. I`m sorry if I was not able to discern your
testing procedure, but does the flash fire on the Super P`s
hot shoe?
