I would "ohm-out" the grip and the 4P to see if there is`nt a bad
connection. If you do by chance take the grip apart, it is covered
with a leatherette, and when it is removed it comes apart pretty
easily.
BTW, I was going to snag that off ebay, but my internet connection
was down when the auction ended.
