It's on Stephen Gandy's website, www.cameraquest.com, in the section about
the Pentax 43mm. Stephen also told me who his source for this is, although I

Mine either. A superb lens is a superb lens. Actually, the President of
Cosina is a great camera lover and a real friend of classic photography.
Also, he is reportedly a good friend of the President of Leica, Herr Cohn.
Bear in mind that it's possible this is just a rumor. It's also being
rumored that the new 45mm Nikkor Tessar-type is being made for Nikon by
Cosina.
