I built my darkroom under my steps, so the area where I have the enlarger
has a very low ceiling above it. I'm also 6'4" tall, so I have my
worksurface mounted at about 38" high for comfort. I could lower that for
the enlarger a little, but it would be a major pain in the butt, and I'd
probably never get it level again.
