Pl,
That sounds like me. I have a PZ-1p and all of my lenses are manual focus.
I do have the 1.7x AF adaptor but that gets primarily used with the
M200/4. The features of the PZ-1p most useful to me are the fast shutter
(including 1/250 flash sync), built-in spotmeter, TTL flash metering with
flash exposure compensation, 1/3 stop increments, ergonomics/Hyper Manual
mode, and of course the fact that it accepts my MF lenses.
The only thing I wish were improved would be to make the viewfinder better
suited to manual focussing, such as by increasing the magnification and
offering a focussing screen with focussing aids (ie-center split, etc.).
That said, I've gotten used to using the in-focus indicator when I have
doubts. I've even used the AF assist light in dark situations where I'd
never be able to focus manually, even with a proper viewfinder.
