Compared to MX, the viewfinder of the Z-1p is dimmer, smaller (the
magnification of MX's finder is quite high indeed) and less sharp. The
eyepiece was made of uncoated plastic (vs multicoated glass on MX) which
will be scratched in no time (just do not try to rub it with anything,
anything at all). However, the screens for the Z-1p are brighter and
smoother. But to be honest, the only thing that I cannot stand is the
plastic eyepiece. I just do not know how to clean it without millions of
scratches. The quality of MZ/ZX's viewfinders are even worse.
