hmmmmm.
wondering about the MZ-S again, and I just thought of something. On the old
Nikon F3 motor drive (The MD-12 as I remember), the MD frame rate varied
according to power source - If you had standard AA cells in it, it was 3
fps, and if you went to lithiums (2CR5 or something), you got 5.5 fps.
I may be wrong on the specifics here, but the general gist is right.
However, I've also read that the MZ-S battery grip can be dual powered by
AA's or Lithiums, so this may be one of the reasons that the frame rate is
variable......
So it might have the capability of 5fps after all, which is one of the main
discriminators (in trade mags at least) for pro/semi pro gear.
