WRONG!  I don't often shoot slides.  I'm talking about B&W
enlargements.  Case in point: a photo I printed full-frame with
about a 6.5x enlargement looked great.  Based on the proof print
I decided to make the final print, and with cropping it went to
a 14x enlargement.  I could see where the focus was not
~exactly~ where it should have been, not ~exactly~ where I
wanted it. As a 14x enlargement it'll pass, especially if viewed
from an appropriate distance.  But this photo will not meet my
standards for a 20x enlargement, maybe not even a 16x
enlargement.
