Mike said something no one has commented on: turning the (whatever) camera
about 30 degrees will solve the problem and takes a tenth or two of a second.
I learned that with my PZ-1p. You sense your camera "hunting"? Tilt that
sucker...problem solved.
If you insist on holding the camera horizontal, well...
