Are you quite sure? Compared to a lens for Auto 110, yes it is big.

No Peter, I'm not quite sure! As I answered to Dave...
I wouldn't call it big, nor really slow. But I guess its a matter of
interpretation. I am used to big heavy fast lenses (eg A*85/1.4) and
much slower heavy lenses (400mm f/5.6).

True, not really big. I'd say "rather" big compared to an M-lens,
but it is still a small lens. Also true it's not that slow as you
can use it at full aperture with very good results.
