not in this case. as Boz's site says, there are dozens of parameters to choose when doing a test that are up to the tester's best judgement as to how well they show a particular set of parameters such as MTF. different testers do things differently. now if you had enough testers, enough lens samples of supposedly identical lenses, and enough repetitions by having everyone test every lens in the sample, you could make some more general statements based on the aggregate MTF measurements of the entire group. don't think that will happen any time soon.
