Outside the realm of science? No. This is how science work. When I wanted geochemical analyses I use analyses from the same laboratory. This is common practices in science. Regarding lens tests: What you want to know is how the result on film looks like. For that you need film - yes it is that simple. The MTF thing is red herring as most people believe that anything expressed by numbers is true. P�l
