Fair enough.  I've used a couple of Prakticas before, and the difference
between them and a Pentax M42 body is like night and day.  Preferences
will vary, of course, but I find the Pentaxes to be much smaller, more
compact, and to have a better feel and handling to them.  If you start
getting more screw mount lenses (and yes, they are addictive!) you should
consider at least trying out one of the M42 Pentaxes.
