Then its NOT a waste for them, now is it? Its a "waste" to you based on how you use your camera. It was a "waste" to me based on how I used my camera. It makes perfect sense to any number of people who choose to use it, however, and its hardly fair to call it a "waste" because your personal style differs from it. Just give up, stop calling it a waste, and accept people have a differnt style from you.
