I understand, Dave.  I've been trying out an SFX and an SFXn, but
I've put AA battery grips on both of 'em, which makes the grip area
even bigger.  (I've never actually used the original grips with them
at all - I just couldn't bring myself to plunk down the money for
those Lithium cells - <g>.)  I've used primarily manual focus lenses
on them so far (although I've tried out one of my wife's autofocus
lenses, just to play with the autofocus function).  I find that they
seem to balance well, even with fairly large lenses, such as an AT-X
80-200/2.8 or an AT-X 100-300/4 (both manual focus versions).  I
think I'll keep 'em at least for a while, too - <g>.
