The ZX-L is probably the way to go for a body. Its new, and user friendly, and has lots of blinky blinky lights, which is all I really look for in a camera. :) Lots of the longer zooms go into telephoto at the end, I have a Quantaray/Sigma 70-300 APO that will go into 1:2 or thereabouts macro at the long end. Its servicable, although I'm also a big fan of just using my 50mm and doing the closest focussing I can. -- http://www.infotainment.org <-> more fun than a poke in your eye. http://www.eighteenpercent.com <-> photography and portfolio.
