Depends what you like to do with your images really doesn't it. I meant that the 24mm was mounted more or less permanently on my LX as my 'landscape kit' of choice. I have a 28-80mm ATX-Pro on my z-1p which is my true 'standard' lens.

Sounds like the beginning of another argument about rules and standards that I really don't want to get in to. I use whatever feels right, and not what some half-arsed rule says should be right (i.e. that a 50mm is the 'standard' lens - which is convention more than anything).

Cheers

Shaun

a little too wide to be a "standard" lens?

Images taken with the FA* 24mm have an almost 3D 'look' to them Joe, which I have never seen with any other 24mm. I have only had mine for a little while, but I love it already. It is my new standard lens on my LX.
