I'm surprised Henry would do that. I've had quite a few dealings with B&H with no problems. The only thing I dislike about B&H is that they bill your credit card at the time of order instead of at the time of shipment. This goes for stuff on back order, too. However, they tell you they are going to do it when you place the order, so you can back out, if you want to.

BTW, I had been ordering mainly from B&H. Last summer they took eight
days to send me an order, then said that it had been shipped when it
hadn't. I felt that warranted a complaint. Henry Posner of B&H wrote
back and actually claimed that their delay was my fault. I'll stll buy
from B&H, but to punish them (to the minimum extent that I can) my last
two lens orders (total $900) went to Adorama.
