Write off?  That's not something businesses treat as any sort of casual
accounting procedure.  They'd rather have the cash.

Completely agreed.  Here in Columbus, OH, restaurant service is so
pathetic .... makes one not want to go out to eat.  And I'm talking about
nicer restaurants.  The only ones with good service are the Chinese
restaurants.  Some positive cultural influence there.
