Hi Fred, Again, thanks for the wealth of information, and the time you took to purvey it Fred. I have a Vivitar hood for it, but it`s too short. I`m going to try the 90-180 hood (thanks Paul Str) with a step-up ring and see how it works out, or hunt for a Nikon hood. BTW, have you tried the 90/2.5 with 1:1 adapter and a VS1 28/1.9 reversed on the front of it? They both have 58mm threads and work very well together.
