Nobody said these would be the only lenses.  It would give them a
'complete' lens lineup from the word go though, wouldn't it?  This way
they could develop new and better lenses over time rather than invest in
large numbers of lenses prior to finding out if it is well received or
launching a camera which nobody will buy because it has only a tiny lens
lens lineup.

Although I think the talk of K-mount DSLR is correct and has been
confirmed, really Pentax should and likely would be evaluating their
approach to the olydak and how they can carve thir own niches elsewhere.
Many industries these days (cars definitely) are becoming a mass of
niches to suit every taste - perhaps that is the way the camera world
will go to a degree too?
