Hi Rdiger,on 25 Jan 03 you wrote in pentax.list:but I can still load the ColorFoto side. I have sent a mail to colorfoto about it, will see if they are answering. Regards RdigerI met Christian (www.digitalfotonetz.de), who has a direct contact to Pentax, today. There will definitely no 110-DSLR. I also had a closer look at those 110 lenses. I couldn't see anything that could make them superior to other lenses...;-) Regards, Heiko
I just checked out Christian's siteI feel old. <g> Nice site, never mind that he's only eighteen. He has an interesting comparison of the features of the Optio S vs the Casio Exilim EX-Z3.
Specwise, the Optio S comes out better in more areas: more internal memory 11mb vs 10mb; smaller and lighter than the Casio; Optio can download images to any computer via a USBthe Casio requires it dedicated docking station (what were they thinking?); Optio can display its images on any TV, NTSC or PALCasio can't display to TVs.
Casio has ISO 400, the Optio doesn't.
Same lens and ccd in both.
Very interesting.
