Ryan,

Thanks for sharing. I do some landscape, but mostly it has been
portrait/wedding stuff the last year or so. It is common for my
clients to order 16x20's or slightly larger. I have seen lots of
examples and heard from many who are doing work more like yours, but
not from those who are doing much of what I do. I did see the Kodak
people images that everyone was looking at the other day, but would
still like to see more studio/location work from these cameras to get
a feel for how they render skin-tones, contrast, etc when used with
studio lights or portable flash.

For me, the ability to print at home is not a major draw to digital
because I have too great a volume to want to deal with - so the lab
comes into play too. I am very happy with the results I am getting
with my 67 and lab now, but can see interesting possibilities in the
future. At this stage, 35mm film doesn't cut it for my work. I almost
never use it anymore. So having a D60 level camera would do me no
good. However, right now, even if the 1DS could do the job, I couldn't
possibly afford it. So I will continue to follow the happenings
happily shooting my 67. I could see a new Pentax DSLR replacing my
35mm and Coolpix digicam, but not my 67.
