David, Thanks for describing the steps you took. My PZ-1 does not work the same. I put a #2 K extension tube on it with a FA28-70. I got the same exposure reading when I used the SPOT button or not. The only way I could get different exposure readings was to change the PF for spot or center weighted. Regards, Bob S.
