At last, a picture of it! I have been looking forward to this, since I
was dissapointed to find that the 330GS didn't swivel up or down!!!

What I don't believe, but am hoping for, is that the DSLR WILL have one.
Here is my (delirious) thinking:

Why did the reverse the film loading of the *ist?
This puts the hinge mounts on the left hand side of the body, perfect
for a screen which hinges out to the left side(ala 330GS)!! That way
the screen wouldn't get in the way of your right handed grip on the
camera. Phil Askey hints that the screen is bigger on the DSLR than the
LCD on the FSLR, so perhaps half the film back dimension becomes a
hinges screen!!

Add the grip onto the bottom for storage/batteries and you can keep much
of the same generic chassis/body!

Also - other benefits include the screen could be stored facing in, so
that it doesn't get greasy when not in use (just like camcorders).

Now this really would make it 'Stunning looking' eh paal!?!?!?!?

It has the first 360 degree rotational LCD monitor on the back of a
digital
P&S camera. I really find the similar LCD monitor on my friend's Canon
G2
very useful, especially when the camera is mounted on a tripod.

If Pentax put this rotational LCD on the back of the coming D-SLR, it is

going to be a big hit. In fact, I don't understand why Canon didn't do
so
on their D-SLR.
