  ...way much better, to the point it will concur the image sensor in
  price. I submit there is virtually impossible to focus accurately
  with an electronic viewfinder and a 35mm (system, not focal length)
  lens. Besides DOF being very small compared to most digicams (which
  are not accurate in manual focus either), the image rendered on the
  LCD is heavily changed both in sharpness and contrast. I'd rather
  pay for an uncompromised, decent optical viewfinder than for a
  mystifying LCD that may tempt the manufacturer to add it all sorts
  of gizmos / games / news channel / videophone and God knows what
  else. 
  
  Sorry to be carried away - I'm especially bitter about this point
  after seeing how Pentax embraced this trend with the overspecified
  but heavily compromised *ist.
