Since I have worked most of my life on straight commission of one kind or another, I don't begrudge ebay for the payment it receives for services rendered. I have also found that many buyers like to pay with PayPal and I, therefore, have more bidders on the items I have for sale. I figure that more bidders and higher prices more that offset the additional 3% to PayPal.
You might do well to remember an old saying that a general manager that I worked for often said, "Pigs get fed, but hogs get butchered." It's ok to want a little more, but you can die trying to get it all. Ken On Thursday 20 February 2003 03:13 am, Gary L.
