I don't care for the M 28mm f2.8. The lens handles fine, but I do not find it particularly sharp and the aperture blades get oily and sticky and slow down. The M 28mm f2.0 or M 35mm f2.0 are better choices. The K 28mm f3.5 is reputed to be sharpest of all and not much different in size from the M 28mm f2.8. Often you can find it cheap as few recognize this older, slower lens as a gem. A picky guy like you might want one of these instead of the M 28/2.8. <g> Regards, Bob S.
