I have used three of these extensively. I've found that the K 85/1.8 and the SMC Takumar 85/1.8 are both vastly superior to the SMC Takumar 85/1.9 at wider apertures, both in terms of contrast and sharpness. The M 85/2 is generally regarded as a nice lens but is reportedly not in the same league as the K 85/1.8. However, I have no personal experience with the M version. Paul
