If you want full backwards lens compatablity with Nikon, you have to buy the top end models. If you want the same from Canon or Minolta, sorry, they don't offer it. If you want it from Pentax, avoid the very bottom end models, as they are for people who glue their lens on so they won't lose it. William Robb
