Hi.
No, "this" (carving the Elephant thing) was Mafud quoting someone else, a
famous artist whose name I can't remember.
Since I am no longer in a hurry doing my PJ thing, I tend to frame more
leisurely, searching for the final image in the viewfinder of the 67ll.
Fortunately, I also get to do any enlarging myself. For photos intended to be
framed, you ~must~ leave an adequate margin on the viewfinder.
For photos meant to be printed edge to edge (35mm = 8 x 12), the cropping
("carving the Elephant," so to speak) ~must~ be done in the viewfinder.

Hi,
so, this is the 'Found View' is it?

Nah, "Foundview" is another subject altogether, a matter of a
(photographer's) ethic, not their mechanics or "style."
Perhap we might have a conversation on "Foundview" after you've refreshed
your memory by visiting their site.
