I'm glad to know it works like the 2X-S. I've mounted mine only on 100/105/135 primes. Works nicely on the 135. It seems this was marketed originally to convert 50mm lenses into cheapo 100mm "life size" macros. I've never slapped it on a 50 because I have a few 100mm macros. It's the only TC I regularly carry. Good build quality, love the helix.
