The other day I talk with Abdi @ midwest photo
about b&w processing. Picked up some Rodinol
to improve my Acros developing.
The other day he did a test of developers. (He and
his local b&w printing guru.)
What he has done to get good neg dark area detail was
to check 35mm negs with a densitometer. He's really
fussy about zones 1-4 because he shoots a lot of
people of dark skin. This compensation allows him to
shoot his own style without having to compensate
WRT camera settings.
His best results with Acros -- use T-Max developer.
I'll get the specifics later. But apparently T-Max is
the best thing around for shadow detail with Acorss.
(He's probably used everything but Pyro!)

Anyone else tried this? Results?
