Amita,

Several years back, I purchased a Bogen/Manfrotto 3218/681B Monopod (supports 26.4
lbs. and costs ~ $45.50 @ Adorama) and a Bogen/Manfrotto 3229 Swivel Tilt Head w/Quick
Release for support. It works OK but it is somewhat limiting.

I recently purchase a Bogen/Manfrotto 488RC2 Ball Head w/Quick Release for my Monopod
and that works great. The heaviest lens I own is a SMC-K 200mm f/2.5. I good
monopod/head makes shooting sports a lot easier.

Regards,

Jose R. Rodriguez
