Over the weekend I took a ferry ride and got salt spray on my camera, lens, monopod and ballhead. I wiped everything down with a napkin right afterwards, and when I got home about an hour later I went over everything again with a damp paper towel and followed with a dry towel. The lens was covered with a UV filter, which I washed with soap & water.
So, is my stuff safe from salt corrosion or is there something more I need to do? Thanks, Amita
