Yep, that's how I do it. Works for landscapes and macro. Sucks for
sports.

Sports in bright daylight is my application. Race directors often have
5k, 10k and marathons finish with the sun at the runner's back. Even
with the 400FTZ I have to be fairly close to the runners.
