Dave,
Go to Symantec's site and go to "Security Response". The very first virus
listed "Blaster Worm" should link to an analysis page and give you links
regarding how to combat the virus etc.
Remember that this virus was built for and targets WindowsXP but can also
attack any other Windows O/S in time.

I wonder if this is why i am also having one hell of a time connecting to
