I have three lenses with "A" markings on them that I think could be used on the *ist-D. I only have four K-mount "originals". I have several SMC Takumars that I see could be used with the *ist-D. Will I buy a "D"? I think I will wait and see how the first buyers evaluate the camera. Maybe some independent photo company will come out with a digital that will take all of the offerings of Pentax when it changed to the bayonet mount.
