I don't use B&W film, but FWIW there is an article by Kai Yamada in the August/September issue of Camera Arts where he reports he uses "Tri-X Pro" and learned of the change in emulsion. He reports that "whatever tweaking they have done to the film, it hasn't affected the look of the prints . . ."
