Hey Cotty, I agree with Paul, the early 50/1.4. It`ll say on it "Super-Multi-Coated". I say early because the early one was all metal, the later one had a rubber focusing grip. They are VERY sharp at 1.4. It is also better than the 50/2 at f1.4 ;) Steve Larson Redondo Beach, California
