Hi Csar,
As my travel continues in Utah, I stopped in a
>book store
Was this Sam Weller's? If you like books, this is the
place.
as I was
>walking around taking photos. Of course I had to
>peruse the photo section,
>talk about old books! I found an interesting small
>photo book with a
>Honeywell Pentax on the cover.

I don't have this one, but some time back at Sam
Weller's I came across one of similar vintage:
New Heiland Pentax SLR Guide
by Kenneth S. Tydings
Copyright 1961, 2nd printing 1962.
It's been fun to read and of course the pictures of
the equipment are informative.
Some of these old books are a hoot in that they aren't
too "politically correct". I was looking at one there
about 6 months ago from the '60's and it described the
105/2.8 takumar as "a lens that you can focus on any
portion of a young lady's anatomy without her being
any the wiser".
How times have changed, huh?
Today you would need at least a 300mm.... :-)
Hope you are enjoying your stay here.
William in Utah.
