I have the fifth edition featuring the Spotmatic and have been
through it a couple of times. It's encouraging (for us manual
focus users) to read the older literature when these cameras
were praised as fast, capable instruments. Useful in discussion
of handling these cameras......you are expected to fire off two
frames per second with perfect composition. Like most older
books, very sparse on the types of lens discussions that crop up
on PDML.
