Have I missed something here. Did someone suggest a 100mm would be useless 
for a landscape. That's so far from the truth that I can't believe someone would 
say that. And if someone is saying that a 100 mm macro is useless for 
landscape it's almost as absurd. 100 mm is the perfect landscape lens allowing the 
photographer to get a more intimate landscape with a different perspective. Wide 
angles are not the only lenses to use for landscapes and most people who use 
them for landscapes don't use them effectively.

I did however shot quite recently a landscape, well, actually a 
cityscape, with my Tak Bayonet 135/2.5. The results would be ready 
some time later.

But still, indeed 100 mm is usually useless for landscape.

And of course all is in 35 mm realm.
